the best i've ever got in the crucible is 301. i had no henchman, and the thing i've heard most people struggle with in the crucible is the rock troll.
i can do him in under 15 seconds, cast level 3 slow time then run behind him and cast a level 5 lightning, with any luck you'll take out every little nerve ending in one attack. hope this helps if you want to lower your score.
as with the westcliffe shooting range, best i've ever got is 248. master turret pistol and lots of headshots. try not to dilly dally about with aiming.
these are the best 2 tips i can offer for these 2 things, and of course, obtaining such scores does require a certain level of skill.
