so WHY is this weapon so wanted by like everyone?

With patience and some luck it is easly attainable so I dont know why it's so in demand. There are a lot of great tips out there that will help increase the odds of getting it. I personally enjoy my knothole 4 augment turret rifle more than the dragon.

Its insanely easy to get. I got one on my other character the other day as a matter of fact. Just have a decent turret pistol and aim for the heads in the shooting range.

i got 196 the second time i did it, cause i wanted the doll 1st... lol and now i have 2 and i dont even use em ^^ it looks to silly

its not even a weapon, the damage is almost as low as a rusty grade pistol, and the speed at which it fires is obsolete if you have sub-targeting, quite frankly, a useless weapon. Do like all smart adventurers and use a Master flintlock pistol

Yes, and like i said, the speed is useless once you have sub-targeting, you just lock on aim for the head and BAM! dead, in one shot, not 3, i can take down a whole battalion of guards using the sub-targeting. Power is more important to me than speed.

slow targeting >_> if there is about 10 enemies coming to u and running speeds (highwaymen maybe) they u get to u before u headshot them all..

also.... headshots dont always work.... specially at far range. y not use a gun that will kill an enemy 2 sec at most. fast tap Y

Because, if there are 10 enemies coming to you running speed (highwaymen maybe) and it takes 2 sec. to kill one, that would mean 20 seconds to kill all 10, while the remaining ones are free to attack you, with slowtime/headshot they can't even touch you.

Why cast slow time just to make head shots. In the time it takes you to charge your spell, I'll have already taken out most of the bandits with My Red Dragon or My Master Flintlock depending on which save I am playing.

And, one of my saves uses the Enforcer, if the bandits are in a narrow defile I can take out three with one shot with out the subtargeting.

Slowtime level 1 why are you assuming i am charging it up?!
That would be very stupid to charge slowtime for 3-10 people.
Also I use a turret pistole no reloads ftw!

I never use slow time, thats for noobs who can't sub target quickly. i can take out highwaymen before they even get to me. how hard can it be, seriously? you just get your gun out (in my case a master turret pistol now) press the left trigger, move the thumbstick upwards, press Y....i can do the whole thing so fast, theres no need for slow time. The red dragon is completely useless, and its like what i heard someone else say on another thread, they didn't make god knows how many other unique ranged weapon types so everyone could get obsessed with what is, quite frankly, a poor excuse for a gun. now i bid you day...

I'm assuming you have yet to max out accuracy then? because when thats maxed out you can headshot a balverine dead from the other side of westcliffe...

Although the red dragon has like 40something damage.. it seems to have a LOT more.

I cant explain why but its like a 3-4 shot kill on a BIG balverine not sub targeting. Thats about the same for master flintlocks which fire a LOT slower.

 

It looks cool too.. escpecially if playing an chararcter

Lol, I use a Master Clockwork Rifle. The thing is, Clockworks do less damage than Turrets, but I like the short reload time. So I bought one with 3 augment slots in Knohole and put on Devastation, Lucky Charm, and Flame's Gift.

Quick loading, semi-automatic with high damage and incendiary rounds. And I'm damn fast with sub-targeting, I can get headshots on my next enemy before the little reticule even appears to lock onto the body.

I think my best little shootouts was a about 4 bandits and 2 highwaymen dead in about 2-3 secs. Needless to say, my hero was a marksman.

Red Dragon is so easy to get and its really strong. You pretty much kill something before you can get off one shot with the enforcer. The Devastation augment Makes it do more damage then it says. And taxininja I can do that too with sub-targeting
