    Name: Barnum

I thought it would have been nice after the credits rolled, to show the picture right before you re-enter Albion, like a last tid bit at the end of the credits. Big Smile [:D]

I like that idea as well. Too bad Reaver shot him.

i thought that was hillarious the first time i saw it.

now, as i've played the game again a few more times, i just kinda really wanna shoot reaver right in the face. "hero of skill" my ass, every time i do that mission i always kill 99% of everyone. you know, with a gun. i don't see why we need him.

he's a great character, but let's face it. dude does not live up to his title. at least hammer really is strong, and garth does some cool will stuff (including the static version of the blades spell that you can't do). but reaver's just the hero of inflated egos.

We need Reaver because Stephen Fry is awesome. That's pretty much the only reason I can come up with to keep him around, anyway.

But, like I've said many times over, I love Stephen Fry, but if I had been given the option to kill Reaver in exchange for leaving Lucien alive, I would have shot him in his crap-lousy face Angry []

you know, for a game that supposedly offers so many hard choices and complex morality, fable 2 really needed a "screw you theresa" option.

i mean, theresa's like 600 years old, probably immortal, and very powerful. yet she just gets your dumb self to run around and do her bidding, just she can take lucien's toys away for herself. the poor guy just wants his family back, and there's a lot of speculation that theresa's E v i l [Evil], right?

yeah, okay, lucien wants to destroy the world or something. but maybe you look a freakin' demon, run around randomly killing NPCs, and are just generally the most malevolent being albion has ever seen. why can't you write to lucien or something, and say "look, i know you shot me as a kid and killed my sister, but theresa's really kind of a ***, and i'm all for destroying this awful place, so i'm gonna help you out instead. you can use your spire, get your family back, and kill everyone else, or whatever, just, like, gimme back my sister, and we're cool. meaningwhile, lemme go prove my loyalty by killing these other heroes that are supposed to help me stop you. deal?"

i mean, just like fable 1, there's no REALLY E v i l [Evil] choice. you still gotta kill the bad guy. your only choice is between "because the world needs me to" and "cause he shot my sister." you don't get to choose between the actual actions. what if i don't WANNA kill lucien. maybe i feel bad for the guy.

A dev said that they adjust Reaver so you had something to do, cause otherwise he would have killed everybody before you had the chance to shot one bad guy.

The thing is they didn't adjust to well, since now you're doing all the shooting and he's doing nothing.

I really don't see anything great about Reaver (besides his voice), the character model sucks bad and like anything else in the game I don't care or hate him at all, just brings nothing, no hate, no love, no fear, no laugh... nothing.

makes sense, i guess. it's just kind of... anticlimactic? he's supposed to be the guy who takes out galleons from a mile away with a single bullet, in rough seas and high winds, while the captain's in the cabin, etc. and then... he shoots like 2 guys, and talks about how i can tell my grandchildren that he never missed? i guess it fits his character, but... wow.

oh, i love reaver. i love to hate him. he's just a great character, imho. on my last hero, i played a female "gunslinger" character. all skill, no strength or will, very small and cute. morally ambiguous. i showed up at reaver's house all pretty and stuff, tried to put the moves on him.

Re: The guy that takes your picture..

Well actually on all of my play-throughs thus far he has actually missed several times.

Also, i wouldnt like the idea of seeing the picture at the end of the credits because i never watch the credits of any game (cept fable 1, because you get to continue the game afterwards)

As for choices i agree that you never truly do what you want.

Someone should make a game that is completely open ended and you get to choose to do whatever you do. Even on the back of the fable 2 box, it made me feel as if this is what i was getting (along with an open world, and less roads Stick out tongue [:P])

That's kind of the point, to make people watch the credits just to get a little glipse of it, otherwise what would be the use of watching them? Or at least it would have been nice to have a Concept Art/Screenshots area, like the Pub Games..after the end of the game that picture would appear. You think Barnum would have given it to you when you meet him in the Sangoose though. ORLY [orly]

yea.. I mean after all, he was broke and I(and alot of other people) would have paid ALOT of money to get it.

heck, if it wasnt so early in the game I would have paid millions just to see it.

I found that I didn't want to kill Lucien, either, but then Reaver shot him. I would have liked an option to be truly E v i l [Evil], and join Lucien's side. That would have given the game's story a major plus and more replay value. Hopefully, they will give us the option to be truly E v i l [Evil] in Fable III. It's always cool to be the villain for once.

yeah, like, a real villain. choices are nice, but completely divergent storylines would be better. much higher replay value than when all the choices basically lead to the same place. of course, maybe that's something about fate. theresa apparently can see the future, so maybe free will doesn't really exist. or something.
