BNW2 with BOTG buildings

    BNW2 with BOTG buildings

    Ive beaten both games now and have had fun. But i was curious if this is possible. I would like to play the original BNW2 with the option of using the BOTG added buildings. Possibly increased the tribute that can be gained to compensate of the additional buildings but thats a option. Anyways has anyone succeded in this? i attempted to just move some files around but just got crashes. Let me know Smily [:)]

    I don't think it can be done.

    You can import static models such as the buildings in the editor which can be used on player made maps.

    But, they won't be recognised as buildings and the BW2 game engine isn't set up to handle the animations.

    What if instead of bringing BOTG to BNW2, you bring BNW2 scenarios and maps to BOTG? It sounds far less invasive. Would just have to move over the skins for the other races and it should be seamless. More importantly, one could cut out that unskipable cutscene in the begining of BOTG that introduces the E v i l [Evil] god.
