    Fable 3, why now?

Ive been seeing alot or rumors on fable 3 and how its already in development, i hope that tha this isnt true . Before they move on to fable 3 they need to finish what they started in fable 2, ive just got back on fable 2 after a month, still no patchs to fix any of the annoying bugs/glitches, and there have been alot of stuff that the game needs, like hand to hand combat, armour, better trade system, less lag & pvp, WTF Lionhead, PM is Full of crap, he promised so much and the game isnt even awsome, maybe lionhead shouldve waited atleast a few months before releasing the game and souldve probly hired more game testers & its super obvious that lionhead doesnt care because if they took there time playing their own game, they would have fixed it along time ago.

If they've already started working on Fable III, that doesn't mean they won't make another DLC or another patch (well I doubt they'll do another patch) for Fable II.

Starting a new game, making a DLC or making a patch doesn't require a full team you know.

Yeah, but thats the problem, PM promised so much to us, the game was suppose to come out perfect, but there are extremely visible buygs/glitches that should have been delt with a long time ago, its like they dont even care.

I like that you complained about Lionhead making a new game then listed a bunch of things you want, some that would likely require Fable 2 to be remade in order to support.

    Are you an ODST (fanboy)?

    Re: Fable 3, why now?

Lionhead is probably big enough to work on patches, downloadable content and a new game or two, and I'm pretty sure, they're not done with II yet.

How would PvP even make sense with Fable? Being able to do Will/Skill/Strength is supposed to be a rare feat, but if everyone's special that way, how is anyone? ORLY [orly] I don't feel gimped by not having armor. Hand to hand would be neat, but, I'm... not sad about it?

Personally, I would stop playing a game if I disliked it so much.

And with rose colored glasses, I say the longer they work on Fable III, the better...

They really dont give a hoot anymore, but using no armour and no pvp as an example of "bugs" is a bad way to finish your post... those were either not added because they are stupid, or intentionally left out of the game...

armour wouldnt make a difference anyway.... having it would have no effect on the game...

    Re: Fable 3, why now?

Oh come on, there aren't that many bugs, I have only seen 2 and I've played well over 100 hours.
    1. Altough I'm completly pure, everytime I start the game I have flies around me, I need to go to another area.
    2. There is alot of clipping, but that is more an error than a bug.

And by the way, armor maks no sense in the Fable 2 setting, do you really think a piece of metal can stop a bullet from piercing through you?
Ilove how they went colonial, and Lionhead sure as hell does care about the game, they just 4 years on it!

i'm not trying to sound like i worship him, but he always does.

fable 2 was a game that had sooooo much potential but lionhead got too dam lazy to make it the best it could be.

all i know is peter said they'd go up till like fable 5? (correct me if i'm wrong) and if f3 isn't what they promise it to be i bet they would lose at least 10,000 buyers from buying the rest of their games.

    Re: Fable 3, why now?

as for the bugs everyone's complaining about, i guess im the lucky one that doesnt see these, fable 2 is a G o o d [Good] game could be better yet every game ever made could have been better, as for fable 3 stop whinning it wont be out for at least 3 years. If you dont like the game please stop posting about how mad you are that they havent fixed the bugs or you cant do something in the game theres only 1 billion threads already.

IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT PLAY IT!

    Re: Fable 3, why now?

I doubt lionhead would put 4 years of their lives into a game to let it fall into that "failure" crowd of games besides they can't tailor a game to any one of us, no matter how much we kick and scream, bugs are normal i mean look at the halo games every time you boot it up its got some bug or glitch and it is much harder to patch games on an xbox than a normal pc            and things like armour dont really fit in the colonial theme of fable 2

Yeah that is how I feel about both Fables so much potential could have so much more depth then it has, don't get me wrong I still like them.

You know what I think they should do? They have different floors for different projects I think after they finish Milo they should combine the Milo team and the Fable II team and have both floors work on Fable III, in the meantime the Fable II team can work on DLC and concept for Fable III.

    Re: Fable 3, why now?

I notice how so many people are quick to judge Lionhead on some issues with Fable 2. Maybe someone should remind them that MS took over Lionhead at the start or during Fable 2 (cant remember which)

You will ALWAYS have bugs in a game cos when your coding you often get gremlins in the code. Even when you make new code to rid the gremlins more appear, so give the Lionhead programmers a break.

For me MS ruined Fable 2, they took alot of PM's ideas out and watered the game down alot.

    Re: Fable 3, why now?

Look every game has its issues...some more than others its just what happens. I want fable 3 but im not sure too soon they(in my opinion) need to make it a big enough step forward than fable 2 to make a difference.....other wise just make DLC for it if its not.
    Power to the people!

    did they really?
if so are they currently still controlling lionhead or was it for just fable 2.

and even so, lionhead could have argued and faught with ms to keep most of the idea's in the game, but it seems like they didn't even try.

and with the bugs, there is nothing you can do to get rid of all them. like dragon said they keep comming. the only thing that they could really do is have more testers and have them check every part of them game out for bugs and glitches.

when i play a game i beat it once and if i like it i check for bugs and glitches. i do this by walking, running, and jummping in every corner, try to break through wall barriers or like what i did in fable 2 (i got past the bridge/wall in bowerstone market and found plentyyyyyyy of bugs and glitches in that water) and you just swim going back and forth and side to side to get to the end.

Fable 3 =Best be the best RPG ever made Peter, not the sims and menufest Fable 2 was

    Don't expect anything, I suppose.
