I just beat Lucien so I went to go to Oakfield to visit one of my many (6) wives and my 2 kids, and Oakfield was so dark and gloomy, whats the matter with that? Does it have something to do with the Temple of Light being torn down or what? And another question, in other games I've seen new house near the sculptor, but i have the same houses there, what can I do to get those new house?

Yes, it has to do with the ToL being torn down lol. You didn't help them before you left for the Spire your first time, so the ToS got to them.

And to get into the new houses, you buy them lol.

In all seriousness, you need to own 2.5 million in real-estate. Fairfax Castle helps with that and so do some of the...other high priced buildings like Garth's Tower and Reaver's Mansion.

you need a castle to be a king

then it should shop up on your hud that you can buy queen ore king at the town crier.

I got it the other way around, when i bought the castle, i was given the title mayor, then when i got 2.5 mill in property, it gave me the title of King/Queen.
