First thing to do is to make sure you have your, video card, sound card, processor, and BIO's up to date.

Get all the updates for your system if you need them.  Even get the updates for your CD ROM.

It might help to post your computers specs.

If you have done this then we know that this step is covered.

This Game is known to have problems with Vista.

Not a Vista problem! Don't blame every shitty problem you have on the system you're running. Still the biggest bugs usually sit in front of the monitor! Wink [;)]

Anyways not a user fault here either. The DVD you use to install simply can not be read. This is either caused by a broken drive, a broken DVD or  maybe only a dirty drive/DVD. While the first two causes would require you to buy a new drive or a new game, the third only requires a cleaning. I hope for you it is only a cleaning issue. Up []

You can also try to copy the DVD manually to the harddisk and then install it from there. If you get an error during the manual copy process, you can be sure there is a problem with DVD itself.

I know that it is not always the system, but I have tryed everything I know.  I have talked to my tech friends that fix computers for a liveing.  Before I bought this computer my tech friends told me to get an Apple.  They work windows but they have heard too many problems at work and the companies they work for will not buy Vista.

I bought another Windows System because it is what I am use to, I think I make a mistake.Disappointed [:isappoin]
