lol so these are just a few very awkward situations for someone who might buy this, I mean the AI sounds great....but the whole Idea sounds wierd and creepy, and thats why it probably wont do very on the market. and thats probably why I have second thoughts about buying it...anybody else think its just creepy/awkward???

haha at least Lionhead had enough sense to not use like a unicorn as milo or something really embarrassing what if you were being interrogated?

Cop: "where were you at the time of the crime?"

guy who plays milo: "Officer I was no where near the scene of the crime! I was at home playing with this new little boy I bought!  

Cop: "...you bought alittle boy and was playing with it??? you sick freak. your under arrest."

 

so can you guys think of any other instances where talking about Milo might be awkward???

Honestly I don't find Milo and weirder than having a conversation with an NPC in an RPG. Wrex in Mass Effect is a cool dude and I like talking to him inbetween missions. Milo's just that taken to the next level.

Expet Wrex is an alien humaoid frog . Yeah if you explain it properly it shoundly be very weird.

I think Milo might be more of an ESRB E game, since it will involve interactions and it is very innocent so any family member could possibly interact with Milo, not just the hard-core gamers. You don't really hear anyone say...

Random Person: "Hey man, let's go play Fable II!"

Other Random Person: "Na, I'm going to go play Wii Fit."

Even though that sounds strange, for some reason Wii Fit is still the number one selling gaming product since it was released.

Hopefully NATAL can break that streak.

It is possible for this to turn into something special.  I do not think Milo could be a game in itself, but the AI behind it could be implemented into some NATAL games.  In that aspect, this tech has real potential.

Milo might just be one of several people we interact with in the game.

What you fear is what happens and what you have faith in happens so if maybe no body will judge you for getting it and maybe some will if you acknowlege to them that your scared of that happening. I think it would be fun to talk to him plus I want to see how they developed his mind and see how human he is. I want it big time so no negative thoughts from me on him.
