    Changes to the forums?

I'm sorry, I've been away for quite some time. I'm not sure what changes have been made in the 11+ months I've been gone but has something happened to the reply/thread creation page? I have a couple pictures to post, but hyperlinking, urls, image links, etc. have apparently been disabled. Also, the box to type in is EXTREMELY small. When I quote someone, I can barely read anything. And it seems that the smilies no longer work. Double clicking doesn't put a smiley in, so I have to drag it in. That puts in a bunch of text, though.

    Am I missing something?

You must have changed browsers, the post box and buttons don't work for lots of them.

You can click and drag the box in the bottom right corner to make it bigger. But it's absolutely ridiculous how these things haven't been sorted out.

    Seriously?
We're at the stage that Microsoft's own browser isn't compatible with one of their websites?
I get the feeling I should be surprised, but somehow I'm not.

    Re: Changes to the forums?

I suggest using Opera 10 masked as Firefox or Internet Explorer. Works perfect on every homepage.Cheeky [:cheeky:]

Can anyone tell me a G o o d [Good] explanation, why a website has to identify the browser at all and than simply refuses to work if you do not have the "right" one?

    Re: Changes to the forums?

I think it's simply lazy website programming. It's easier to make a site compatible with a particular browser.

Pssssshh... Chrome has worked beautifully with everything, plus it looks pretty. Why is this the only damn site? Ah well, I guess I'll have to switch back to Mozilla.

    Re: Changes to the forums?

I got used to using this site in Chrome. It's a superior browser to anything out there right now in my opinion, not going to change just for Lionhead.
Although it's not just this site that has browser compatibility issues. It's usually sites that are of a financial nature that have difficulty, bizarrely enough.

Yeah I have had some problems with posting in certain Browsers as well, right now Firefox works the best it used to be IE but after 8.0 it does not work right. Tongue Tied [:S]

    Re: Changes to the forums?

I have to run IE in compatability mode for this forum to work correct.  Took me months to figure it out.Classic [:classic:]
