I agree. The closure seemed very...premature. And the website certainly didn't help to answer any questions, it just made me sad to know how far off humanity is from PMs optimistic opinion of us.

Anyway, I'm sure these questions will get addressed one way or another. I mean, apparently the first thought many people had was "Can I (or someone else) do something sexually explicit around this kid?" so they'll have to address it eventually...

judging by that interview, (Which I did find for all of us btw ) Milo does seem to be pretty much smoke and mirrors, we just get a chance to say a few things. I can see this working like current games.

You select dialogue, or in this case, say some dialogue, he reacts with what is essentially a cutscene, then you get a chance to talk again, rinse repeat.

No such fun as free form chats as I had hoped. But I still do hold hope for the game to be updated and so on.


Besides, we don't need to abuse Milo. Pc modders will make their own "porn game" and child abuse games that will use the Natal via their pc, etc. I think the odds of them not doing so are a million to one.

I would make the most out of the event and do natural acting like around a normal friend around Milo. And last...Finally us Geeky Gamers can Purchase a Friend that Understands Our Feelings!!!

No silly, we are going to go explore in the Hobbe Cave (such as his shirt foreshadows), and have epic In the Movies scenes while we reinact scenes from Fable and Black and White. Not sure about adventures really, it seems mostly about just interacting with him as he expands in his own little universe, basically he seems to be just a normal friend you would have in your childhood.

We should definitely be able to discuss how Milo will react to certain situations, be they appropriate or otherwise. So long as the discussions stay relatively on track and not too offensive I see no reason for them to be locked.

I mean, it's an interesting question. Just how advanced will the ai be? Is his contextual knowledge going to be limited to certain topics? Will those topics be introduced to the player as they're introduced by Milo? Will it be like "Hi, I'm Milo. I like swinging on my tire swing, playing with the fish, jumping on the trampoline, and riding my bicycle. What do you feel like doing today?" and then all recognized phrases and ideas be related to those specific activities?

Basically, I'm wondering if his scope of reality will be restricted to whatever is going on, and what he has disclosed to you, in his life. Will any other unrecognized topics be met with a reaction based on your tone while speaking? (happy, sad, mad, statement, question etc.)

While normal people like you or I may comment on his jeans and how cool they look, other people will tell him to take his pants off. Not even in a sexual way, just to see how his programming allows him to react. Would he just nod his head and smile because he registered that you were asking a question in a nice tone of voice?
