Yeah i have windows vista 64, graphics ati radeon hd 4670 so i know that's not the problem...anyways when i'm installing the game it gets up to the picture of the cow dancing in feild and then an error pops up saying "Your system has not been modified. Please  re-run installer to try again." error: catastrophic failure. the error always seems to happen at the same place...btw the discs r clean scratch free.. i've tried reinstalling like 10 times gave up for a few months and here i am agian........any ideas would help.

The following solution should fix this error for you:

• You will need approx 8Gb of hard disc space. Either all on one drive or 4Gb on one drive and 4Gb on another.
• Create a new directory (folder) on the drive to copy the contents of the CDs/DVD to (for example C:\BW2_CD).
  
• Copy the contents of all the CDs (or the DVD) into this folder and then run Setup.exe from the folder.
  
• The game should now install.
  

Please note that you will still need to have the original CD/DVD in the drive when playing the game.

I just tried that one and it still didnt work for me. I am using Windows 7 though, I think there may be an issue with that. Any other words of wisdom???

Yeeeuuup. I'm having the same issue here.
I am running windows vista,
my disks are all brand new, and they run on my gf's computer wich has Windows XP.
I've tried the manual way of copying the contents of the disks to my hardrive and installing from there.

In each instance I get about 3/4 of the way through install and I get the catostrophic failure message.

This really sucks too cuase I love Lionheads games, been playing "the movies" for a year now and never had any where near these kinds of issues. Any help would be much appreciated, and I appoligse if I dont get back to you quickly...I'm tempted to launch my comp with a pumpkin chucker.
