    Breadcrumb Trail In Space

This is just a small suggestion for better implementation of the Breadcrumb Trail (glowing trail in the options) feature.

I got around to playing a game called Dead Space a little while back and it also had a nice little line that would show you where you had to go. The thing is, in Dead Space the line wasn't there all the time and you could only see it when you clicked and held the analog stick down. For me that's a much better way of doing things than turning it off all the time and then having to go into the options to turn it on again when you can't find that damn guard in Oakvale who owes you money for wiping out Spire Guards. It's less intrusive than having the trail on constantly and yet still provides the easy way to see where you're going and who you're meant to be talking to.

Sweetest moment in the game? My dog came back from the dead to help me open the Rookridge Demon Door. I fed him a snack and he followed me to see what the treasure was. When I left, he disappeared, having helped his master out one final time.

Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without getting their skulls spiltt, as a general thing..

The worst thing ever to happen to the human race was the idea of being civilised..

    Yes, Yes, Great idea!

Fable Definition: A short, pithy animal tale, most often told or written with a moral tagged on in the form of a proverb. Thus to convey a moral is the aim of most fables, and the tale is the vehicle by which this is done.

I quite like this idea. It would be great if they added this in Smily [:)]

Or perhaps the trigger could instead be the act of raising your eyebrows twice to the Natal cameras.

Say aloud and clearly "Breadcrumb Trail, Activate" three times within 5 seconds and then wink to turn on the breadcrumb trail for an additional 5 seconds.

i also think the breadcrumb trail would look better if it was a sparkling trail on the floor, not in mid air

No For The Trail To appear You have to sing the song "Show Me The Way To Go Home"

Show me the way to go home,
I'm tired and I want to go to bed,
I had a little drink about an hour ago,
And it went right to my head,
    Where ever I may roam,
On land or sea or foam,
You will always hear me singing this song,
Show me the way to go home.

Then The Trail Shows Up Showing You Where Your House Is,

And For The Blacksmiths,Woodcutting Or Bartender its "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, Its Off To Work We Go!"

You can already turn the trail on and off. I just wish they would let us toggle a mini map on and off.

They're trying to cut down on the UI.  I found it hard to navigate the game at first, even with the BCTrail, but I got used to it.  The only problem is that this may turn away new players who aren't going to be as open-minded as I am about the game.  A mini-map may, unfortunately, be a necessary E v i l [Evil].

Aside from that, I think the health bar and D-Pad expressions pop-up need a real bit of innovating done on them, because they are huge eye-sores.

I like this idea. It worked very well in Dead Space and I can't see any reason why it couldn't in Fable 3.

They could just use the same trigger you use to collect the exp bubbles.  Would be a nice fit to show while pressed.Dead [:notalive:]

Did you just turn away a Natal idea for a controller one? Okay, who are you and where's Pimoreland?

They also did this in the wolverene game and it worked well. The gold trail didnt bother me that much but I wouldnt mind if they had it where you could press a button to show the trail and turn it off.

No, what I think he meant is that raising your eyebrows twice should also be the "button" or "trigger" for the experience orbs to be collected.  The controller will just be there so that your hands have something to do while the real gameplay will be purely Natal.

^ the way you phrased that made me think that natal is becoming purely facially stimulated, and people will be doing crazy things like the eyebrow kids from the cadbury adverts with their arms just hanging at their sides xD

imagine a fast paced fps... 'i raised the right corner of my mouth! that means reload not crouch! are you KIDDING ME???'

    could be fun...

So your saying you want to toggle it on and off with the analog stick, not a bad idea. Maybe the right analog stick will toggle ORBs.

Toggling it on and off wouldn't be too bad but I wouldn't like to be forced to hold it down all the time. It already bugs me I have to hold down the button to collect the orbs.

    Re: Breadcrumb Trail In Space

IDK I mean which is more annoying, holding down a button just 2 find a guard or only having to go to the menu for an instant?

and plus, fable has a lot of button holding already: A for sprinting, RT for absorbing expierience, and A for extending expressions, it would get redundant.

That's just my view though, it would depend on the type of gamer. for me i think its a nuisance to hold 3 buttons down at the same time. The menus are annoying though. Especially for changing the dyes that was tedious

this is not most games tho, is it ?

Just have the "back" button to toggle it on and off.( Toggel meaning , you press it to turn it on and press it again to turn it off.)
I think with this everyone is happy no ?
