    I need some help...

Everyone knows the game Fallout 3, right? Well I'm trying to download a mod for it on the PC, it's called FOOK2 which stands for FallOut Overhaul Kit 2 which pretty much makes vanilla FO3 into a more hardcore version through the addition of more guns, perks, armor, named NPCs, better graphics, etc. The whole download is 1.1 gb, and I'm trying to download it off of the website, www.fookunity.com/fook2.

Now here's the problem, and it's pretty unique to me because any Google search has turned up little. When I click the link to download (I'm using Chrome) it starts downloading perfectly, but then somewhere throughout the download (it changes every time) the download will simply stop and say it is complete, even though it is entirely evident that that is not the truth. This problem is only unique to this download and all it's mirrors. Help? Disappointed [:isappoin]

Anyone have a clue? Sorry for the bump, I'm just hoping some one who knows the problem can see this.

Well here I'll reply just to show I'm not ignoring you. However I don't often use mods for PC games as I can never get them to work so sorry Sword I can't help you out there.

    Re: I need some help...

Try another site.. Falloutnexus  or fileplanet. they have excellent downloads and an exceptional amount of mods. As for your future problems installing such big mods.(and there will be) I recommend downloading a mod manager they do most of the work for you. I do believe there are some preference choices to make as you install, it handles that too. I have 30 or so mods running on fallout and the M.manager is a lot f help. You can find them in the same sites.

FOOK2 is a G o o d [Good] mod, but check that you are downloading the latest version (I think 2.4??). That could be your problem.Smoker [:zmoker:]

    Re: I need some help...

I have FOMM, FOSE, and AII already downloaded, and it's not the actual input of the mod itself into the game. I can handle that. It's the download of the installation that occurs on the browser. Last night was the worst, I tried it again and and downloaded above 200 mb for the first time, and I then left it to download overnight, and I wake up to realize that it stopped at some time during the night at 1 gb, only 100 mb away from the full download. Confused [8-)]

    Right now it's downloading at a solid 539 kb/s
