FuKuyMen, I'm sorry to tell you, but the videogames market is as it is. I mean, this is not the first time that a new version with some new content is released on another system. You have to accept that.
At least you have played Fable, what about PS2 users? what about NGC users? The developers/publishers decides what platforms are aproppiate to their games. And their decisions not always like the gamers.
The difference is, never has any game I've cared about been released in a very maligned form that many feel is incomplete, and then the 'finished' version released on another system
while the two systems are so mind blowingly similar that it would take no large amount of effort to port. They don't have to port the whole game, just the new content. There is nothing they are adding that isn't 'appropriate' for a rerelease on Xbox. Again I point to Morrowind, a game with a lot more content that was made for PC instead of the other way around (like Fable was). There is no excuse. None. This would be like MGS2 Substance or Silent Hill 2 Directors Cut not having been released on PS2 but only on Xbox. But they werent. Why? Because the original games were made for PS2 and it made sense to rerelease them on their native platform as well as porting to Xbox. Fable's native home is Xbox, its not unreasonable to ask for this, and Fables sales were good enough to justify it.
And how dou you know that your PC can't run Fable TLC? Can you see the future? Do you know the sys specs?
My PC can't run any current games. Unless its being downgraded to work on a circa 1998/9 PC, I can't run it.
And how it's possible that a member of the LH forums, like you, hate PC gaming? yeah, I'm very surprising. Lionhead and Peter Molineux are famous thanks to PC games. Peter Molineux has said many times that his favourite plattform is the PC.
I'm on the Fable forum, which happens to be part of the LH forums. I'm happy for Peter, I don't have anything against others using it for gaming. My PC is for internet, writing, downloading, office stuff. Not for games. I hate the concept of upgrading your computer, playing games on a moniter, sitting at a desk, installing games, playing with a mouse and kb. Its the farthest thing from what I would considered a relaxed and enjoyable experience condusive to gaming. Plus, aside from some RPG's, I hate pretty much all typical PC games (RTS, Sim, MMORPG, FPS, etc). I'm not saying TLC shouldn't be on PC or anything, I just think with the ease of conversion, the good sales, the fact that Xbox gamers are the main market for this game... theres no reason we can't both enjoy it.
Well, I'm sorry to read your post. I hope you'll change your mind. FTLC will be a great game

If I have no other option, someday, way in the future, when I update my computer just because I need to for non-gaming purposes, I might get it. Maybe. I really take it personal that Peter and co took so long, cut so much, and then they turn around and put a better version on another platform, sorry.
