I've send a few better ... gray models, with a lot more details, but still ... you put a lot of work into this.

Thanks for the comments, I used Maya 2008 to create this model, its still a work in progress.  Ill make sure to send in the final version.  As far as my next project,  I plan to model the milkmaid or another one of the characters based on the concept art that Lionhead released.

hello dan nice work how old are you and at what level are you studying? do you goto college or university? im studying game design at college but my 3D modeling isnt anything compared to yours although im using Google SketchUp not maya

Hey Callum, I am in college right now,in my third and final year and graduate in about 4 months, but i have been doing 3d in my spare time for a couple of years.  My program is 3D modeling and animation but its not specific to gaming, we learn both low and high poly modeling along with the animation.   I have not had the chance to use google sketchup ill have to give it a try sometime.

Cool! I like (sorry for saying it) the simple touch, it's not like you add in a whole bunch of s**t just to make people puke, it's awesome! Can imagine how nice it would look with textures and paralax maps :). Really nice work, fable's medieval architecture is the best!

do you use maya or somthing?

it looks like something out of a Tim Burton claymation movie (though thats probably only because ist gray).

do you know if there is a free or cheap program were you can design something in 3d, or at least somthing that is better than microsoft paint program. i am looking to do something with designing so i thought i would get a hed start. by the way nice work it's really inspirational.

i found a program for free named blender, i tried to use it but it is really complicated, any tips or hints?
