My download finally worked.  Thank you Lionhead for setting MS straight.  Sir Voor, the games seem to work offline after you have downloaded them.

Got mine too.  Now if only we could download the games right now.

I believe that was at GDC 2008.  He was introducing the Xbox Live arcade games for Fable 2.  Molyneux mentions it at about 2:09 in this video.http://youtube.com/watch?v=29x95ePFX28Who's to say that it'll be exclusive to Fable 2 though.
