Friggan:it is a known issue in bowerstone with (usually) a 5 star economy, there are several threads about this issue (one several pages long), you can either go to bloodstone to buy your furnishings, or do something to knock the economy to 4 star ( increse prices in shops, kill/steal a bit, etc) , yes it is a pain but until it is patched, there ...

It takes so much for my wife to ''get it on'' with my character...even if she has it in her list of wants. I still haven't received a gift from her at all...is she just withholding stuff from me, and I've given her ALL kinds of gifts, she has more money than she could spend, and the house is pristine. I guess I'll just have to turn her loose ...

Ummm...yeah, that didn't help really much either, been there, read it, but still having a problem getting ANY furniture for any of the 4 billion houses that I own. (okay, so 4 billion is stretching it just a bit...at least you don't have to go and collect rent from each doorstep!!)

I can't seem to buy any furniture from her...just a book over and over. It sure would be nice to be able to buy stuff and fix up houses and change the economy. Anyone have any ideas??

That would be a very idea indeed. Being able to set the rent for houses and stores all at once!! I have all the houses & stores in Bowerstone and Oakfield and make about 6400 every 5 minutes. For the houses I am giving a 20% discount and for the stores I had it at 25% off, but I raised it back up to 0% just to see if that affected anything.

I've been trying to buy furniture from the store in Bowerstone Market, but it only allows for the ''A'' button info stuff. I'd really like to upgrade some of the houses, but this is got me confused. Maybe she doesn't want my money...after all, I am the owner of the shop. Any ideas?

I'm still looking as well...if I find her, I will let you know when and where she is at. I think there are a lot of people on here who have said that they would try and find her and marry her as well. Off to find the Maid...
