Adus:There is usually a gap between the game being finished and released. The game needs to go through certification and then be released to manufacturing to actually stamp the discs.
So once the game has gone ''Gold'' aka RTM, the team basically has nothing to do.
Presumably the Dragon Age team went on to make DLC at this stage.
As I'm ...

See, THIS is what I'm afraid of. There is absolutely no excuse to have
DLC that costs money on day one except to milk the customer. I agree with sim 100%; it's
absolutely disgusting.

meralonne: TheBoyWhoLived:... it seems the only reason they make video games is to make money...
If it seems that way, it's because it is that way. These guys have to eat, too. That's true but there's a way to make great games without looking like the only reason you are doing so is to make money. Uncharted 2 is my example of that. Obviously ...

Sam:I think it's important to understand the context in which this was said to be honest, this was a BAFTA lecture - where important people from the TV, film and games industry talk about their visions about the future and their work...
He also mentioned that the ''microtransactions'' could not be featured in Fable 3.That's to know. I was ...

Forgive me if this has been posted before, but this article just popped up on Kotaku.LINKI can handle the inclusion of NATAL, and can see where it might actually be a idea, but this is pushing it. I don't like it when developers plan, before the game is even released, to charge me for items that are clearly already available beforehand/on the ...

DrGirlfriend:I can just see microsoft seeing the dollar signs for making people buy Natal with Fable. I can't. Microsoft may be money hungry (just like every other company out there), but they are not stupid. Fable is one of their highest selling IPs on the system, not to mention a member of the ever shrinking ''exclusive'' party. There is ...

Xarne:This makes no sense on so many levels:1- PS3 > Xbox. So much more potential to improve graphics, add more content and more data period on Blu-Rays. XBox is a joke.
2- You are totally reducing potential product sales by cutting out other consoles as well as PC gamers
3- Does someone at LH and MS think that by making this ...

Forgive me for not reading the entire thread (though I'm pretty sure I posted in here once before) but I was thinking something I'd like to see in Fable III are cut-scenes. I'm playing through Uncharted right now in anticipation for the sequel, and the cut-scenes in that game add a lot to the overall experience. I feel like if PM and co still ...

BayStone:Yet, Gradius also said this: Gradius:At the time of writing for when I said Natal was not in F3, I was correct.
However, I have no idea about plans since then, or any plans outside F3.
I wouldn't worry about F3 becoming Natal-only anyway...it's made for the controller and we won't be changing that.
Wouldn't surprise me if MS ...

How much proof do I want? Well, I think a definitive, clear answer one
way or another from, say, a dev who is working on the game would be
sufficient. And, it just so happens, we have that already!
Gradius1:We have no plans to use Natal for F3 so please stop making threads about it :-)
Thread here
Look, I would have absolutely no problem
