I think you alot of you guys are misunderstanding the problem that some people have with the death system. Anyway, nice to know, but I'll sell them as soon as I get them, just like I did in the first one.

Hmm... I like the idea of insanity being a possibility in the game, but that method seems a bit too simple to me. Each individual thing could only give you so much of a hit. The first time you see someone decapitated, it's a pretty big hit to your sanity, each further beheading affects your sanity less and less until it no longer affects you. I ...

Mournblade or Stormbringer. Mournblade is probably my first choice, mainly because I know how Stormbringer likes to ruin happy moments.

I have four of the pub game characters ready to merge for four different playthroughs. One with about two-thousand that I'll start with, one in a huge amount of debt, one with a huge amount of money, and one with a huge amount of glitched gold, incase that makes any difference.
With the first, I plan on spending it on whatever dog ...

Wow... just... wow.... I had been doing my best to make myself less hyped and less impatient for Fable 2, but you seemed to have ruined that plan. *le sigh* I suppose that's my fault though. Should've stopped reading after the first line.
Anyway, a very read.

@toddquest: The fault bit was a joke. You see it as needlessly wasting your time. That's fine. I see it as an incenctive not to die in the first place. I suppose we have different views on what a game over is though. I'm not entirely sure how you see it, but for me, it's like an ending in a choose your own adventure book. The hero does indeed die. ...

@Toddquest:Well, it's not your character's fault it died, now is it? The current system doesn't make it important to play well for a lot of people though. With the traditional death system, you can't play badly and get through an area. If you're not enough to beat an area, you have to get better or your character needs to be stronger if you ...

It's not a question of how well it works. It probably works fine. It's a question of whether or not it lessens our immersion and sense of accomplishment. You don't always need hands on experience to judge that. Information about the system and experience with similiar systems can let you know whether or not you'll like it.
If you think the thread ...

Best is a matter of perspective. Different people like different things. We don't really know why Lionhead settled on this anyway. Time could've been an issue.
Dying isn't supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be frustrating so that when you finally succeed, you feel like you earned it. That's how I and most of the others that have signed the ...
