the reason he was nice is cause he was looking for the 3 heroes to help him make the wish. he heard about 2 kids that made a old kingdom music box work(appling that only heroes could use it) so he sent for you and your sister to see if you were heroes and if you could be used as 1(or 2) of the 3 to get his wish and power the spire. when you arrived
