I dont think it was a character size (in MB) problem that we dont see other people. In all the mmorpgs where in some customization is much bigger than in fable, characters of others load nearly instantly, even on the bad 1.3 mb connection I got. I think lionhead was just lazy

i also got bug with that quest. My wife was killed in Banshee attack so the kid went to orphanage (never saw any so I guess it means he dissapears). Then quest popped out to save my son which I dont have anymore. No breadcumb trail, nothing, cant complete it.
