I believe the artwork for Fable 1 had a drastically overdone Character also. My guess is no.

This is a DEV-known glitch. They are working on it. They think it has something to do with Bowerstone being a Level 5 economy. I did read that someone had success with lowering the economy. It will restock apparently.So...kill some folks? 

I think it makes sense...besides weapon drops. I don't think most monsters/bandits would be carrying around thousands of gold. But if you find a large enough group of them there is usually a chest near by.

Tast:Fixing a game killing bug in the next patch is inadequate. This bug ruined the game for me. I'm so angry right now.A lot of work goes into finding and fixing these problems. Then the fix needs to be verified so it doesn't BREAK something else. All I can say is, were it me I would have gladly started over. Love this game

No doubt. The game just released in the UK today. Give it some time. They know there are issues.
