    Sacred 2 is a game for what it is and dual-wielding swords while riding my spider mount is definitely one of the most bad-ass things I've experienced in a game in a long time, but I got bored with it... eventually.

    The Bag:If you know your JRPG battle systems it's basically an 'active time' battle system. You can issue commands in real time or in a paused mode, these commands are then carried out when it's your characters 'turn' (one command per turn). So it flows like a real time battles since there is no pausing to take input each turn like a turn ...

    What really got me started on programming was Neverwinter Nights scripting, which is (very) simplified C. It was extremely easy to learn and introduced me to concepts such as variables and functions.Then I discovered C# (and XNA), which is a joy to work with, even for an amateur such as myself.
