well I plumped for a replacement disc from the ASDA I bought it from. Played it for 6 hours straight last night and so far so . Save game is fine an up until now there has been no freezing/grinding/scratching. You should maybe all try a replacement if you can. I was assured by the staff at ASDA that I could return the new disc if tht too ...

I recently experienced this. Can't load/save/play it at all now. A few minor scratches have appeared since I bought it and before the game would freeze I would frequently get a horrific grinding noise and then silence from the 360.
