Yeah, exactly. As far as reporting bugs, I know for some of the games I've worked on that had public betas there was always a unique forum users would have access to post their bug findings. I would think they'd be curious in how you or others reported bugs to the development studio and if you ever followed up and retested those bugs later.

A very easy way to kind of get a jist of an org is just look at the ending credits for a game. Everyone involved in that game's development is listed along with their role/title....from programming, art, QA, management, etc...its there.

whatsInAname8: You might want to look for XNA, and learn C#\.NET. Could be easier to start with. Yeah XNA is definately a great starter. Easy way to get your feet wet and lots of documentation available. And if you have questions there are a lot of helpful people in Xbox Live's Indie community if your thinking of going that route.
