Optimistic is in the hobbe cave in the cursed skull area. Before you get to the area with the water mill there is a ramp that goes upwards to a treasure chest (you get a costume from there I think).  you should be able to see it ontop of the wooden beams that you had to smash through to get in there.Jump off the top right of the ledge and then

AWESOME! I've been awaiting this announcement since I downloaded Knothole Island and was totaly disapointed by how short it was! I really hope this DLC is longer after playing the Lost and Damned it has really raised the bar in terms of the quality of DLC.I'd happily pay 1600 points for something that would give me another 10 hours of Fable II ...
