The same thing happened to me except I moved her from the Luminous Lodge in Bowerstone to a house with a better rating up the street near the exit to Fairfax Gardens. I too went back to the first home to set it to rent and discovered a ghost marital home. More than a little ticked off about this. There's no way I'm going to lose two homes to move
