tokie: Benthetenken:Although I hope that I'm wrong, I don't think that we will have much be able to customize our character at the beginning of the game ( other then choosing gender of course). One of the main point of the games is seeing how your choices effect what your character looks like, not choosing it at the beginning.I heard something ...

Why do you think that they go well with Fable as oppossed to Orcs or Dwarves or something? They've been in almost every fantasy rpg I've played, I'd rather see something new.And I'm not knocking your gnoll idea. I'm curious and would like to know why you think they'd fit well.

I don't think it is that likely. Gnolls are pretty standard fantasy fare and I remember an interview for the original Fable in which the devs stated that they wanted to stay away from fantasy staples like elves and dwarves and whatnot and instead have their interpretation of Grimm's Fairy Tales. I think the best thing to do would be to let players have the option of turning it off if they want to. i also want to see what it actually looks like in the game and if it's as obtrusive as it sounds in the article.

ratcatfish:Having a detailed world map sounds great but, Apparently there is going to be a color coded ''Bread Crumb'' trail of pixiedust stuff that will go along the ground and lead you to quests and what not. So the dog is not really the only HUD or method for finding your way around in the game world. I personaly think the ...
