Anything but semi-modern or modern is fine in my books. Furthest I'd go is probably 19th Century style.But I think they will progress onwards with time a bit more, but I don't think they'd go too extreme.

Purely for the reason I felt Fable 2 still had characters looking too alike, I wouldn't mind seeing some degree of character customization in Fable 3 somewhere. Just because you haven't got actual stealth in the game doesn't mean you can't enjoy the rest of the game. I mean, you don't exactly have to be an assassin or a thief, or whatever, do you? Being honest, I don't actually know anyone who's only interested in stealthy types.
