I don't remember an option for turning off the Auto Save on TLC... then again I never checked so it might still be there. As for the autosave, it always autosaves to the same seperate slot so it cannot overwrite any world saves you've made.So next time you beat the game just be sure to make a world save again.

Once you've beaten the Dragon, let the cedits roll, once they're done you'll be loaded back into the gameworld and the game will autosave. But just to be on the safe side you might want to make a world save just in case. It's always better to trust on Worldsaves that you make yourself instead of the autosave.

Age is one of the few things I really cheat for... I use the trainer to lower it back to 20 or 30 every once in a while. As for the highest CM... that's basically a contest to see who's got the most time on his hands, now innit? All it takes is a trip to Cliffside path and a whole lot of hacking and slashing.
